ISA recently hosted our annual Model United Nations conference, welcoming delegates from schools across Aberdeen. Entirely student-led, the event sparked nuanced debate on global issues.

We have just concluded an insightful and highly successful accreditation visit from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association (MSA). The week was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our journey as a school and to celebrate the vibrant community we have built together.

More than a fifth of students (22%) scored 39 or higher, placing them among the top tier of IB graduates worldwide.  

ISA’s Elementary Veg Growing Club was proudly featured in Future Gardeners by Charles Dowding. This student-led initiative gives children practical skills, responsibility, and community connection. Recognition from such a world-renowned gardening expert is an incredible honor, celebrating both the dedication of our staff and the enthusiasm of our students.

The start of the school year was filled with exciting trips that combined learning, teamwork, and adventure. From exploring Edinburgh’s museums and parks to meeting author Cressida Cowell, ISA students built friendships, discovered new passions, and created unforgettable memories that showcase the spirit of our community.

ISA was proud to join this year’s Doors Open Day, welcoming the Aberdeen community to explore our campus. Guests enjoyed a fascinating history talk, student-led tours, and a hands-on experience in our new immersive and sensory spaces, highlighting what makes our school truly unique.
